Warning!!!!!

Not Pretty

Lancaster County Pennsylvania is marketed as the Heart of the Pennsylvania Dutch Country. The webpage for the Pennsylvania Dutch Country states "Part of Lancaster County's old-fashioned charm and homespun warmth stems from our Amish population - the families, farmers and craftsman who follow a deply religious, family- centered lifestyle that hasn't changed much since the 1700s."

The countryside of Lancaster County is gorgeous - lush green farmland. But the truth of Lancaster County is an industry of misery for animals. Look just beyond the farms and you will see veal houses dotting the landscape, horses with severe injuries from the abusive farm work and hundreds of puppy mills. Amish and Mennonite persons openingly declare that dogs are no different than livestock. Elders of the religions support the practices leaving us to ask are they Just Plain or Just Plain Cruel. Lancaster County is a County of Misery in a Commonwealth of Cruelty.

I Know it's True as I Have Been Here.
