Her Name is Lacey.

Lacey sat and barked at the wall. For hours.
Lacey was lost in a world of depression and
deprivation. Nine years in a puppymill had left
her blind, malnourished, and ill with respiratory
infection, skin infection and a heart condition.
And it had broken her spirit and taken her mind.

Lacey was rescued and had two months of love before
she died of congestive heart failure.

Her Name is Rosie
June 13,2003

For her fist five years she only had a USDA number and lived in a chicken coop outside. She was a backyard breeder dog, used to make puppies for a pet store. When she was rescued by BARC she had so many medical conditions and lived in severe pain with her lungs and back legs.

She had the sweetest smile even though all ner teeth were missing.

Before she died she had the priviledge of being loved by her foster mommie.

Her rname is Liberty September 23, 2005

Rescued on Awareness Day 2005

We are sorry to report that the sickest of the mill dogs had to be euthanized . She was the Shih Tzu that we rushed to the vet on Saturday who had congestive heart failure.

She was free for 5 days and she was named Liberty by her foster home.

We will continue this fight and be strengthened in our resolve by her passing.

We promise Liberty will not have died in vain

Sno Babi

November 10, 2005

She received little medical attention. When she came to us she had the look in her eyes that all mill dogs do, the vacant stare, the look of hopelessness, fear, and numbness. Living her life with her doggie siblings and my mother and father brought back the normal look in her eyes, the look of love and joy and happiness.

We had her to love for 3 years. But her 6 mill years took her life

Venessa

November 25, 2005

She was just a baby.

Gotten from CC Pets Kennels on November 14, 2005

We were assured she was healthy

Just a little yorkiepoo with a heart of gold she was diagnosed with Parvo.

We only had her a few weeks but loved her dearly

Heller

March 03, 2006

Heller, born on 1-15-06
journeyed to the Rainbow Bridge on 3-23-06.

Please help stop Puppy Mills for all of the little angels like our sweet Heller.

Heller was born with a birth defect making it
impossible for her body to process the sugar
she needed to survive.

She was 9 weeks, 1 day and 8 hours old when she died.

Liebling

April 19, 2008

Rescued from a midwest Puppy mill after 9 years, she only had 3 more years of learning love and happiness.

She was diagonised with a tumor in her throat that was wrapped around her jaw and nothing could be done.

For three years she was dearly loved by her mommie and will live in her heart forever.

Liebling was a special little angel that had no bad habits and couldn't be more perfect in any way.

Pepper Pete

May 02, 2008

Pepper Pete , lost his battle with a very sick heart and lungs on May 2nd, and went from my arms to God's hands with the loving help of our vet.

I took this picture of Pepper Pete the night before he left us ... somehow my heart just knew ... he'd had a difficult year physically, but was the gentlest, bravest sweet warrior I have ever known, and I miss him very much!

Day after day..
each one the same,
another year older
a little more lame
left out in the weather
with little protection
my body is sore
and hot with infection
in the freezing cold
or the searing heat
with nothing but wire
beneath swollen feet
my food bowl is empty
my water dish dry
What did I do??
please tell me, why?
the litters come
and the litters go
where do they take them?
I don't know...
is this a bad joke?
or a horrible game?
I have no home
not even a name
no one to love me
no one to care
no one to bathe me
and brush my hair
my teeth are rotting
my eyes are encrusted
where are the people
to whom I'm entrusted?
I cry every night...
so afraid, don't you see?
could this be the life
God intended for me?
someone, speak for me
I am losing my will
take me out of this hell
called a Puppymill.....
