This holds true for buying from breeders also. How many shelter dogs die every day because their owners dumped them? Or because the owners of their moms didn't bother to have them spayed? And how many breeder's dog's end up this same way? If we stop the breeding we can stop the killing. Promote mandatory spay/neuter laws.
