NEVER place a FIV or FELV positive cat with a negative cat---it's a DEATH SENTENCE. Get a test on your cat, and if negative, let the perspective owners show you a negative test on their cat(s) performed within the last 30 days. If your cat is positive, try to keep him as he is going to die soon and the stress of leaving you will kill him quicker.
