Do Animals go to Heaven?
Yes - they do!
Why do I know that? Well, let me explain a few things. God answered my prayers. But before I tell you about that, Let me give you some food for thought.
In the Bible it tells how God will come back on a white horse. If there are no animals in Heaven, where will he get the horse?
It also says the Lamb will lie down beside the Lion. No animals in Heaven - huh? Psalm 50: For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. I know all the fowl of the mountains; and the wild beasts of the field are mine.
Then there is this poem:
God had made the earth and sky,
(Dog is God spelled backwards)
And now for my stories of how God answers prayers.
Back in 98 my Mischif was diagnosed with cancer. Being that this little dog was like my Lifeline- I couldn't bear the thought of his leaving me. I found a little pin. A Angel Dog with a push on clasp. Now the dog & wings were welded together. I bought it & wore it every day and said a prayer for my Chif (his nickname). A few months later he went into remission. (Still is) * Update 2002-My Mischif has gone to Heaven. On Christmas Eve he got his wings Click here to see why I know
Anyway when my Spud got cancer the next summer I put the pin on again. This time I guess God needed Spud in Heaven because I lost him in November 99. I wore the pin anyway I just didn't have the heart to take it off. Every day I ask God for a sign that he was in Heaven. Then one day at the bank when I was working, someone said "what,s this" and reached down to pick something up. It was the clasp off the pin. I was so upset & got down on my knees & looked for the doggie. I found the wings. The Wings No Dog!! We looked all over. Where I worked was a small area & there was no place for it to go. Only 2 bar stools & a paper can (no it was not in there). And besides, it was welded on. I had just looked at it earlier & it was OK. This was my answer to prayer. I just knew.
Then last year when my Snoopy died, I began to doubt as we do sometimes. I was putting his page up on the web the day I had to put him down and I was crying and praying at the same time.
Dear God, please send me a sign that Snoopy made it. He wasn't a very smart dog but he was a good dog. Please let me know he's OK. Well- within 5 minutes my server was telling me "You got Mail". I was in no mood for mail. But I looked to see what it was. It was a poem. The title was From your Pet in Heaven.
Click here to read it. When I read the second line (which I underlined.) I cried so hard. And I knew. Thank you God for answering my prayer.
March 2003- Still another- I wanted so bad to know Panda got her wings last week but I didn't want to ask again so I let it go. Then last night I was talking to a friend and she was telling me how she can feel her one baby jump on the bed every once in a while. I said I wish just once I could feel mine near. This morning I just felt I needed to check my e-mail for some strange but strong feeling. I did and if you click here you will see what I found.
Coincidence?? Maybe. But I do not know this person who sent it & how she knew this I will never know. It was like God used a human for a messenger to me.
So you see- Yes I know they are in Heaven and waiting for me.
Someone said to me once- " When you get to Heaven you won't see you mom & dad right away." I ask why and they said, "Because they will have to wait in line til all your pets say hello." I smiled.
|There is an Indian legend which says when a human dies there is a bridge they must cross to enter into heaven. At the head of that bridge waits every animal that human encountered during their lifetime. The animals, based upon what they know of this person, decide which humans may cross the bridge.... and which are turned away.|
| "Heaven is the place of final
and complete happiness
God has prepared for us - and if animals are necessary
to make us happy in heaven, then you can be sure God
will have them there."
--Rev. Billy Graham
Animals, among God's most perfect
creations, are alive and well
All the animals that exist on earth exist on the other side, without fear or aggression, and they are appropriately cherished and respected as the pure, innocent, guileless spirits they are . . . The animals on the other side include every pet we've had in this and in all our past lives, and they watch over us from there with the same pure, steadfast loyalty they gave during their lifetimes . . .
When we first arrive on the
other side, our spirit guides and transcended loved ones can hardly
get to us through
all the animals joyfully waiting

Welcome at Rainbow Bridge
On the morning of September 11, 2001,
there was an unprecedented amount of activity at the Rainbow Bridge.
Decisions had to be made. They had to be made quickly. And, they were.
