The Reason

I would've died that day if not for you.
I would've given up on life if not for your kind eyes.
I would've used my teeth in fear if not for your gentle hands.
I would have left this life believing that all humans don't care.
Believing that there is no such thing as fur that isn't matted;
Skin that isn't flea bitten;
Good food and enough of it;
Beds to sleep on;
Someone to love me,
To show me that I deserve love, just because I exist.

Your kind eyes, your loving smile, your gentle hands, your big heart saved me...
You saved me from the terror of the pound,

Well this baby is home- got acquainted with his brothers & sister finally. They are doing really good.

Seems to feel at home. He's laying here on the floor eating and just rolling all over.

He is a sweet and loveable pup but he's gonna get big. Huge feet & he is already almost as big as Abby and she is 6 years old. He's only 3 mo. Yikes. Looks like I adopted a horse.

He is so precious. But a lazy little guy. Drinking and eating - laying flat on his belly .

Tomorrow we are getting a bath - I say we as I know there will be two of us getting wet.

OK he just brought me his water dish - it's empty- think he's trying to tell me something.

He's one lucky baby

Already has a Fairy DogMommie, Several aunts ,an uncle & oodles of guardian angels plus a mommie who loves him dearly.

Now what more could a guy ask for?

Oh My I think we have fleas- That's not good - I am allergic to them. Tomorrow we will definitely take care of that if I am not all full of hives by then.

Other wise we are doing great.

Well that's about it for this night- Guess I am sleeping on the floor. There's more room.

Well I got my bath- don't I look better??

I sleep on the floor last nite next to mommies bed with my head under the bed.

This dog wants to cover & hide his head. Something in his past I guess.

He learns really quick! He wouldn't come back in the house & I had to drag him in all last evening but today he comes in with the rest of them One problem down.

Likes to get into paper cans- like most pups so we will keep them out of reach.

Today his nose is into everything- don't take anything just checking every corner - furniture- whatever that is in the house.

Oh he is now watching TV!!

Scruffy & Benji chased each other all over the yard this morning. I think My little terror from hell here (Benji) met his match.

The song on this page (Funny Face) is special to me. I sang it to all my babies who have gone to the bridge. It brings tears to my eyes. I now sing it to my new babies. It seems to help me to realize that I need to go on & give my love to new babies.
