Benji is his name

Well I have always wanted a Benji. He is my favorite movie star . I decided that Caesar is so much like him & reminds me of him I decided to call him Benji Caesar. I will call him Benji for short.

Today went pretty good. He played alot with his new toys I got him. See his orange squeaky bone? He loves it. Can't make it squeak yet but he chases it all over .

He loves to run out & chase the birds & squirrels in the back yard. I took him for a walk- well he don't walk- he runs. I didn't go to far- I was tired. He wasn't.

He is somewhat territorial but is getting better. Demands alot of attention. Gives nice puppy kisses. Is a charm in the bathtub and follows me everywhere.

He is also quite a little watchdog. Barks at everything including nothing and the TV.

Last night I was putting on my slipper socks & reached for the second one. I knew I laid it there & it was gone. I looked in the living room & Benji had it in his mouth sitting in the middle of the floor.

He is a little devil, but so so precious. Abby tolerates him now & tonight she even tried to chase a toy. I was surprised. But I still don't completely trust them alone together. I do think in time they will be fine.

We got his license and he goes for a vet checkup this week so I guess he will be pretty well set then.

For adopting a sight unseen dog- I sure got a very special baby. I couldn't have asked for a better or sweeter dog.

Completely housebroken - how 'bout that??

Guess he's staying. Hope he loves me as much as I love him. I guess he does as I sure get alot of kisses.
